Kid Safe has no accounts and no sign-up. Here's exactly what happens to your data.
What we collect
Links you check. The URL is sent to our server, which fetches
the page and has it analysed so we can return a verdict.
Usage analytics. Anonymous app events (for example: a check ran,
a verdict was shown, the paywall appeared), plus device type and app version,
so we can find crashes and see which features are used.
Purchases. Handled entirely by Apple. We receive whether a
subscription is active — never your payment details.
What we do not collect
No name, email, phone number, or account.
No contacts, photos, or location.
No advertising identifiers. We do not sell or share data with data brokers.
What stays on your device
Your check history, your Safari blocklist, and your preferences are stored on
your device only. Deleting the app deletes them.
Who else sees the data
OpenAI — the page content is sent for analysis so we can produce
a verdict. It is not used to identify you.
Apple — handles subscriptions and billing.
We don't use any other third-party trackers or ad networks.
Retention
Links are checked on demand. We keep anonymous, aggregated usage analytics to
operate and improve the app; they are not tied to an identifiable person.
Children
Kid Safe is a tool for parents and guardians. It isn't directed at
children and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
